Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what SaveDock ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. We designed the service to need as little data as possible: there are no accounts, no advertising and no cross-site tracking.

Information we process

  • Links you submit. The video link you paste, the format you choose and the resulting job status, so we can fetch and deliver your file.
  • Downloaded files. Files we create for you are stored temporarily and deleted automatically after about 6 hours.
  • Anonymous usage statistics. Pages viewed, how long the page was open, which options were used, device type, browser, operating system, country (when provided by our network provider) and the website that referred you.
  • Technical and error logs. Request times, status codes and error messages that help us keep the service fast and fix problems.

What we do not collect

  • We do not ask for names, emails, passwords or payment details, and we never ask for your account details for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.
  • We do not store your IP address in our analytics. We use a one-way, daily-rotating hash of your IP address and browser details to count unique visitors; it cannot be reversed and changes every day, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next.
  • We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one essential security cookie and a temporary session identifier in your browser. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

How we use information

To deliver the files you request, protect the service from abuse (for example rate limiting), understand which features are used, measure performance, and find and fix errors. Our legal bases, where applicable, are performance of the service you requested and our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable service.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. To fetch a video we send your link to the platform that hosts it (for example YouTube), which receives the request from our servers rather than from your device. Our hosting and network providers process traffic on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.

Feedback

If you send feedback with the feedback button, we store your message, your rating and the page you were on. An email address is optional and is used only to tell you when your question is answered or a feature is ready.

Retention

Downloaded files are deleted within hours. Anonymous statistics and logs are kept for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and then deleted or aggregated.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, and to object to processing. Because our analytics are anonymous we usually cannot identify data belonging to you, but you can contact us at qamardeveloper1@gmail.com and we will help. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record visitor or session statistics for you.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International transfers and security

Our servers or providers may be located outside your country. We use HTTPS and limit access to our systems to protect information.

Changes and contact

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Questions? Email qamardeveloper1@gmail.com.
